The sharing of profits enables funds to be returned into regional and rural development as well as providing a source of income to develop similar models or hives of activity working with disadvantaged groups in developing countries -extending the vision of micro-economics into the global community.
The producers of the profit are given the opportunity to own it.
In each instance it is required of the groups entering into agreement with Bumblebee that responsibility for ones own empowerment must be demonstrated. Full partnership.
Regardless of title, position, role or responsibility, every person in Bumblebee cottage industry is expected to serve where needed. The worth of every person and the value that comes with serving others provides a reason for our work as we learn to give and to contribute value.
Bumblebee works in partnership with:
- Projects that include, the rehabilitation and talent development of individuals - such as regional and rural unemployed, refugees, migrants and troubled youth.
- N.G.O working with rural community projects in both Australia and in developing countries.
- Regional communities, in Australia , including Aboriginal and Indigenous peoples in all countries wishing to improve standard of living will be invited to join Bumblebee Cottage Industries.
- Private small manufacturing groups who wish to network with a larger umbrella company giving them access the global business scene.
Regional centers for resource management work in partnership with existing government learning centers where possible, except in the case of those individuals that require intensive care programs such as troubled youth - these cases require a more one-on-one approach and participants work in smaller, less threatening cottage industry environments. Skilled artisans model and mentor in apprenticeship. Bumblebee Cottage Industries links these communities and markets products.
